Update on Taylor

I have great news:   Just yesterday, Taylor’s liver miraculously (and I do mean miraculously) started regenerating itself.  The doctors can’t explain it.  I’m so glad her family can!!!  She is still in ICU in critical condition, but if she continues to improve over the next 48 hours, they will remove her from Priority One on the transplant list.  The 48 hours is really just a precautionary measure.  The doctor commented that, at this point, if a liver became available now they would probably turn it down!  If she continues to improve, there is talk of moving her out of ICU in the  next couple of days.  Knowing Ms. Gerry and having spoken with her, I know she was praying for God’s will to be done.  I’m just so grateful that He has seen fit to save Taylor without a liver transplant.  Ms. Gerry was having such a hard time praying for a liver, and I love how God has honored her.  Is just goes to show that He  makes all things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to His purpose.  Or for those who delight themselves in the Lord, He gives them the desires of the heart.

Thank you all for your prayers!  Taylor’s family is so hopeful and appreciates all of our continued prayers.  I will keep you updated as I hear.
