My reason for blogging

I became intersted in blogging when a good friend of mine, Jodi, introduced me to her blog.  For close to a year, I would daily check out what was new in her life and the life of her family.   Some stories would leave me crying, while others left me laughing out loud!  After reading her blog for several months, I started recognizing moments in my life and the life of my children and family that I wanted to remember for years and record for generations to come.

While scrapbooking is a passion of mine, I rarely journal in my books as I should.  But I’ve heard it said that no one can tell the story like you can.  Even if someone remembers the story when you are gone, they won’t tell it or remember it exactly as you shared it.  With every repeat, your story changes!

So, this is my journal – a legacy I leave for my children.

  1. That gave me goosebumps when I read it. I’m glad you’ve decided to take the blogging journey too. What an amazing record of events our kids will have of their childhood. And thank God we can stop journaling in the scrapbooks!!! 🙂
